  68. We manufacture a high-end 3D Rendering and Animation System for the Macintosh®
  69. II and Quadra® Series Computers.  Our customers are very well known throughout
  70. the Video and Film industry who in the past would only use an SGI Workstation
  71. with Alias®, Wavefront® or SoftImage® but find that we offer a beter solution
  72. since applications on the Macintosh communicate together to provide a total
  73. animation solution.

  75. The ElectricImage™ Animation System (EIAS) Version 1.6 is a broadcast/motion
  76. picture quality three dimensional animation and rendering system for computer
  77. graphics professionals using the Apple Macintosh II series (with FPU) or Quadra
  78. computers.  EIAS imports, renders and animates objects from modeling programs
  79. used on a wide variety of platforms which include SGI, IBM and Amiga.   EIAS
  80. includes Mr. Font™, the first tool available that imports PostScript® Type 1
  81. laser fonts and converts them into 3D models automatically creating bevels and
  82. fillets.   EIAS V1.6 writes an Abekas™ A-60, A-65 and A-66 format compatible
  83. backup file to any EXABYTE 8200/8250 series 8mm tape device which allows you to
  84. take your output directly to an Abekas System.  These units are compatible with
  85. Macintosh computers and include support for disk backup as well.  EIAS Version
  86. 1.6 though a minor release does add some new important performance enhancements
  87. like:  Import support for 3D-Studio and Alias Sketch Objects, expanded DXF
  88. support, load and save projects 10 times quicker, PhotoShop® Plug-Ins can now
  89. be used, support has been added for the SONY EVO-9650 Hi8 Tape Deck and User
  90. selectable default for hierarchical inheritance of position, rotation and scale
  91. has been added.  Version 1.6 is $99.00 to ALL registered users and FREE for all
  92. users registered after August 1, 1993.  You get all the power of applications
  93. which previously could only be found on an SGI for only $7,495.00(US) complete.
